Comments
Due to a shortage of notes caused by the Italian-German occupation, Greek authorities in 1941 reissued cancelled notes which were already intended to be destroyed. These notes were in use for about one year.
Most of them are hole-cancelled, but other may bear local stamps of branches of the Bank of Greece.
